6 DAYS: AGLAG BUTEEL TEMPLE AND PART OF GOBI DESERT
These carved rocks are the work of the students and teachers from the Buddhist college and Aglag meditation centre. They are outstanding quality work. Nature and scenery are perfect. Sculpture, view. Part of Gobi desert and Terelj National Park a great place to visit if you are only here briefly. After just a short ride from Ulaanbaatar, you are out enjoying our natural scenery – the open fields, the gorgeous mountains, and many others.
On this tour we will take you for a ride on a horse, You will meet a nomadic family, and You will visit the tallest statue in the world. We pack a lot into this short trip so that you experience our lifestyle and that you want to come back again.
Day 1. Aglag buteel Temple
In the morning we will visit Zaisan hill. We will drive to Aglag Buteel Temple which has a beautiful valley of streams, pine, birches, cedar trees, and mountain area.

Day 2. Khustai National Park
We will drive to Khustai National Park to see Mongolian wild horses, Przewalski which were re-introduced back to its home and in 1993.
Moreover, turn southwesterly along the Tuul River and its riverine forest meadows. At the park first, you will visit the Park museum and conference hall. Then we will discover the Takhi, the Asian wild horse. If you have a chance, see the wolf, argali sheep, and deer as well.

Day 3. Burdiin Els and Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain
We will drive to Burdiin els. This is a picturesque area with mountains, steppes, Gobi-type desert and mineral water sources all in one location. Along the way, we will stop at one of the most sacred mountains in Mongolia which names Zorgol Khairkhan. The hill noted “Secret history of Mongolian”. It has many caves and water springs. Lucky visitors, some wildlife viewing. According to shamanic custom, pronouncing the name of the holy mountains while visiting them is forbidden. 1-hour camel ride trail.

Day 4. Manshuzir Monastery and Giant Chinggis Khaan Statue
We will drive to the Chinggis Khan Statue complex is located in “Tsonjin Boldog,” a historical place where Chinggis Khaan found his golden whip. The statue created as a memorial to the Man of the Millennium “Chinggis Khaan.” The 40-meter high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khaan on horseback is the largest of its kind in the world.

Day 5-6. Terelj National Park
One of the Mongolian tourists attract, Terelj National Park is a picturesque place of high granite cliffs that were eroded by the earth forces creating a magnificent landscape of granite tors as if sculpted by some giant sculptor. Terelj is only 65-70 km east of Ulaanbaatar. Let’s explore the extraordinary formation of rocks and stones; some of them look quite similar to giant turtles and after that visit one of a small Buddhist temple in Terelj national park.
