8 DAYS: GREAT WHITE LAKE TOUR
We start our Mongolia Travel from Enza Tours LLC office. Before we start our tour guide and local driver will introduce them. On this trip, you will enjoy the landscape of Mount Khogno Khan Nature Reserve, and the dunes nearby called “Elsen Tasarkhai”, learn about Buddhism and the history of Mongolia and one of the most popular tourist attraction Great White Lake, Khorgo volcano. Furthermore, You will enjoy walking around Ugii Lake which is famous for fishing. You will be able to experience the typical nomadic family lifestyle and do horse riding.
Day 1. Khogno Khan Nature Reserve
We will drive to the mountain “Khogno Khan” Nature Reserve. Once you reach the mountain, you will arrive at a nomadic family yurt in front of this beautiful forested rocky mountains. A mountain is a place of hundreds of birds, deer and gazelle. After we will go hiking around the area or to the small dunes nearby called “Elsen Tasarkhai”.

Day 2. Erdenezuu and Kharakorum
The Kharakhorum was established in 1220 and was the capital city of the Great Mongolian Empire. Chinggis Khaan and his descendant Khaan Ugudei, Guyug, and Munkh lived here ruling the empire. Soldiers of the Chinese Ming Dynasty destroyed the town in the 14th Century. The ruins of Karakorum have been protected since 1961 and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Once we reach there, we will visit the “Erdenezuu” monastery to discover tombs, a temple, and a real Buddhist temple. After that, we will visit the Wall of the Mongolian Empire to learn information.

Day 3. Orkhon Valley
We will drive to the Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall; it is on the Ulaan River flows through volcanic basalt rocks formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes around twenty thousand years ago. The Waterfall cascades from an impressive height over 20 meters with a width around 10 meters and extends for 100 meters of the Orkhon River.

Day 4. Tsenkher hot spring
After breakfast, we will drive to the Tsenkher hot springs. It is one of the most beautiful hot springs in Mongolia. It reaches a temperature of 86 degree from the forest and enriched by the minerals and optimum pH for the skin. That is why this hot spring mostly used for relaxing and resorting your health. Additionally, this area surrounded by the forest, mountains, and cattle from the nomadic family likewise yaks, horses.

Day 5. Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Great White Lake and Khorgo Volcano. Khorgo Volcano is surrounding lava field; this is over 200 meters tall extinct volcano dominates the area to the east of the Terkhiin White lake. From its west bottom side, stairs are leading up to the rim of the crater, a short 15-minute trek that leads to fabulous views on top. Its desolate surrounds are littered with black volcanic rocks – making it look like it's erupted more recently than the estimated over 10,000 years ago.

Day 6. Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park
After breakfast, we will discover the surroundings while horseback riding. Then we will have traditional Mongolian food, and we will go hiking and find floras. In the evening, we will play the popular Mongolian games named as Shagai, Khuruu etc.

Day 7. Ugii Lake
The lake covers 25 square km and is at an altitude of 1337 meters above sea level in Ugii Nuur Sum, Arkhangai Province. Ugii Lake is rich in perch and pike and renowned for its fishing. The annual catch from the lake of Ugii is 50 tons. A lake is also a beautiful place for watching Mongolian birdlife. We will drive to Lake Ugii where you can enjoy some hiking. On the way, we will take a break at an interesting colossal rock called “Taikhar” in the steppe.

Day 8. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar
Return to Ulaanbaatar city. Today we will shop at cashmere factory stores of Goyo and Gobi, the most famous cashmere brands in Mongolia. In the end, you will be transferred to the hotel you booked.
