Day 1. Mongolia Tour Package - Ulaanbaatar Tour

Pick you up from the airport.

09:00 Gandan temple visiting

11:00 Visit the Central Square surrounded by the Government House.

12:00 the National History Museum

13:30 Lunchtime

15:30 Zaisan Hill

17:30 Arrive at Tumen Ekh National Song and Dance Ensemble to see traditional Mongolian cultural performance which is one of the most beautiful, non-touristic things in Ulaanbaatar. Between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, spend an hour watching awe-inspiring colourful plays of traditional songs, dances, music, throat singing, contortion and much more.

19:30 Our guide and driver will drop you off at your accommodation. End of the tour.

Day 2. Terelj national Park and Ulaanbaatar

One of the Mongolian tourists attract, Terelj National Park is a picturesque place of high granite cliffs that were eroded by the earth forces creating a magnificent landscape of granite tors as if sculpted by some giant sculptor. Terelj is only 65-70 km east of Ulaanbaatar. Let’s explore the extraordinary formation of rocks and stones; some of them look quite similar to giant turtles and after that visit one of a small Buddhist temples in Terelj national park.

Next Point: Chinggis Khan Statue

We will drive to the Chinggis Khan Statue complex is located in “Tsonjin Boldog,” a historical place where Chinggis Khaan found his golden whip. The statue created as a memorial to the Man of the Millennium “Chinggis Khaan.” The 40-meter high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khaan on horseback is the largest of its kind in the world.

Day 3. Khugnu Khaan Natural Reserve

We will drive to the mountain “Khogno Khan” Nature Reserve. Once you reach the mountain, you will arrive at a nomadic family yurt in front of this beautiful forested rocky mountains. A mountain is a place of hundreds of birds, deer and gazelle. After we will go hiking around the area or to the small dunes nearby called “Elsen Tasarkhai”.

Day 4. Ulaan tsutgalan waterfall

We will drive to the Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall; it is on the Ulaan River flows through volcanic basalt rocks formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes around twenty thousand years ago. The Waterfall cascades from an impressive height over 20 meters with a width around 10 meters and extends for 100 meters of the Orkhon River.

Day 5. Ulaan tsutgalan waterfall

During this day, we will go horseback riding and discover the surroundings as well as nomadic life, beautiful nature and animals.

Day 6. Erdenezuu and the Kharakhorum

The Kharakhorum was established in 1220 and was the capital city of the Great Mongolian Empire. Chinggis Khaan and his descendant Khaan Ugudei, Guyug, and Munkh lived here ruling the empire. Soldiers of the Chinese Ming Dynasty destroyed the town in the 14th Century. The ruins of Karakorum have been protected since 1961 and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Once we reach there, we will visit the “Erdenezuu” monastery to discover tombs, a temple, and a real Buddhist temple. After that, we will visit the Wall of the Mongolian Empire to learn information.

Day 7. Mongol Nomadic show

·         After breakfast, continue drive to the Mongol Nomadic show

·         We will see it from the show.

·         Welcome visitors by Mongolia Customs

·         Visit the Mongolian nomadic family

·         Introducing nomadic culture and lifestyle

·         Offer traditional food/ tea, dairy products, Airag-fermented.

·         Mare´s Milk and Mongolian vodka/ to guest.

·         Entertaining with Morin Khuur-horse fiddle and singing Mongolia folk song.

·         Take a small feast including singing, dancing and playing a finger game and inviting guests

·         Showing the processing of diary products and vodka brewing to the guests.

·         Archery

·         Playing with national games/ ankle bones

·         Making felt with guests

·         Glazing

·         Demonstrating how to move with a typical stroller such as a cow carriage, yak cargo etc. (B+L)
