Day 1. Mongolia 4 Day Tour- Terelj national Park

One of the Mongolian tourists attract, Terelj National Park is a picturesque place of high granite cliffs that were eroded by the earth forces creating a magnificent landscape of granite tors as if sculpted by some giant sculptor. Terelj is only 65-70 km east of Ulaanbaatar. Let’s explore the extraordinary formation of rocks and stones; some of them look quite similar to giant turtles and after that visit one of a small Buddhist temples in Terelj national park.

Chinggis Khaan Monument: A monument dedicated to the Mongolian emperor and military leader, Chinggis Khaan, located in Mongolia.

Next, we will continue to the Chinggis Khan Statue complex is located in “Tsonjin Boldog,” a historical place where Chinggis Khaan found his golden whip. The statue created as a memorial to the Man of the Millennium “Chinggis Khaan.” The 40-meter high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khaan on horseback is the largest of its kind in the world.

Day 2. Khugnu Khaan Natural Reserve

We will drive to the mountain “Khogno Khan” Nature Reserve. Once you reach the mountain, you will arrive at a nomadic family yurt in front of this beautiful forested rocky mountains. A mountain is a place of hundreds of birds, deer and gazelle. After we will go hiking around the area or to the small dunes nearby called “Elsen Tasarkhai”.

Erdenezuu and Kharkhorin: A historic monastery located in the city of Kharkhorin, Mongolia, which was once the capital of the Mongol Empire.

Day 3. Erdenezuu and the Kharakhorum

The Kharakhorum was established in 1220 and was the capital city of the Great Mongolian Empire. Chinggis Khaan and his descendant Khaan Ugudei, Guyug, and Munkh lived here ruling the empire. Soldiers of the Chinese Ming Dynasty destroyed the town in the 14th Century. The ruins of Karakorum have been protected since 1961 and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Once we reach there, we will visit the “Erdenezuu” monastery to discover tombs, a temple, and a real Buddhist temple. After that, we will visit the Wall of the Mongolian Empire to learn information.

Nomadic herder: A person who practices a nomadic way of life, often traveling with their herds of livestock in search of food and water.

Day 4. Mongol Nomadic show

Following breakfast, our itinerary includes a visit to the Mongol Nomadic show, where we will have the opportunity to observe various aspects of the Mongolian nomadic lifestyle. Visitors will be warmly welcomed by the Mongolia Customs department and introduced to a Mongolian nomadic family, who will offer traditional food and beverages, such as dairy products, Airag-fermented mare's milk, and Mongolian vodka.

During the visit, guests will be entertained by a performance of the Morin Khuur (horse fiddle) and traditional Mongolian folk singing. Additionally, a small feast including singing, dancing, and a finger game will be offered, with guests being invited to participate.

Furthermore, guests will have the chance to observe the processing of diary products and vodka brewing, as well as participate in archery, national games (e.g., ankle bones), making felt, glazing, and even learn how to move with a typical stroller such as a cow carriage or yak cargo.

Following the show, guests will be transported to their accommodations. This itinerary includes breakfast and lunch.
