Good news - Switzerland sends over CHF 850,000 in medical supplies.

Mongolia is receiving assistance from Switzerland in the battle against the COVID-19 epidemic. The Swiss Humanitarian Aid Department sent 40 oxygen ventilators and 45 oxygen concentrators to Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday, July 13th, at a total cost of roughly CHF 700,000. In addition to the equipment delivery, the SDC additionally provided CHF 150,000 to the Ministry of Health for the purchase of four portable X-ray machines.

In light of Mongolia's health condition and in response to the government's request for help, Swiss Humanitarian Aid has chosen to assist the nation in its battle against the Covid-19 epidemic.


On Monday, a Swiss Air Transport Service jet set out from Dübendorf for Ulaanbaatar, carrying 2,000 tons of equipment worth roughly CHF 700,000. The cargo also included 45 oxygen concentrators and other supplies, in addition to the 40 oxygen ventilators given free of charge by the Swiss Army Pharmacy.
